new years eve
James & I spent day #2 in the city before spending the evening with my aunt & uncle. We took a walk around the city post-snack, pre-dinner to check out what was going on around town.

The countdown is on!
We streamed the countdown that happened at Nathan Phillips- crazy to see 40,000 people packing the square that had been pretty empty, considering, hours before. The live stream froze with 5 seconds to go, so we spend the first moments of the new year laughing our asses off - a good way to ring in 2012, i think!
And so, the countdown is on - 7 weeks (minus one day) til beach vacation! Booked it today, new year off to a great start - and back to the grind tomorrow, so not looking forward to that!
